Who We Are
Global SchoolNet is a member supported, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit education organization. Global SchoolNet created the Global Schoolhouse in 1993 to serve as a ³virtual school² where classrooms from around the world can connect with each other and kids can learn from and with each other, about important educational topics.
Global SchoolNet, a developer of online content since 1984, partners with schools, communities, organizations and businesses to provide collaborative learning activities that prepare students for the workforce and help them to become responsible and literate global citizens.

Mission
GSN's mission is to create educational programs that engage students in meaningful content and personal exchanges with people around the world to develop literacy and communication skills, create multi-cultural understanding, and prepare them for full participation as productive and effective citizens in an increasing global economy.
