Hello, my name is Tedi and I am a 11th grade student in Los Alamitos, California. I was recently interviewed and accepted to participate as a member of the People to People Student Ambassador Program to Europe. This 24-day experience includes meeting with government officials, interaction with other students my age, extensive educational activities and home stays with host families. The focus of this program is to promote peace and international understanding while building leadership skills among those of us who have been chosen as US Ambassadors. People to People Student Ambassadors are carefully chosen; therefore, I am honored that I have been selected. As an Ambassador, I will earn high school and possibly college credit because of the vast educational elements in this program. I hope you will help support my fundraiser for my first Student Ambassador trip by ordering or renewing your favorite magazine subscriptions online and sharing this site with your friends and relatives. The total cost for this event is $8,400.00. With your help, I am sure to earn the funds I need by May 2008. I appreciate your support --- Tedi
